Dr. Jamshed Hasan Khan is a Professor Emeritus of LUMS, with a remarkable career in Quality Management, Statistics and Operations Strategy spanning over 30 years.

Dr. Jamshed H. Khan is an Emeritus Professor at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) after having served for more than three and a half decades at the prestigious institution. He specializes in the fields of Total Quality Management, Operations Strategy, and Statistics. He has designed and conducted many Executive Education programmes and consulted organizations on the implementation of ISO 9000. His research interests include application of productivity and quality management techniques, and developing customer-focused culture in a Pakistani business environment. Before joining LUMS, Dr. Khan taught Operations Research and Management Sciences courses at University of Texas at Arlington from where he completed his BS, MS and PhD. He has been actively engaged in publishing academic research papers and has a number of papers to his credit such as “Total Quality Management and Effective Productivity” and “Analysis of Cost of Poor Quality in Pakistani Industry” among others.
