Mufti Abdur Rahman Qasim was invited at Al-Qadir University Project Trust to give a talk on “Willpower and Ramadan”. The talk highlighted some key aspects of observing fasts in Ramadan and the spiritual benefits that one can avail through worship during the last 10 days specifically.

It also touched upon the life of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and how he observed fasts during this blessed month and what are some of the lessons, Muslims today can gather from it.

Moreover, Mufti Qasim discussed the importance of the last 10 days of this blessed month and the search of Layl at ul Qadr (the Night of Power) during the odd nights of this ashara. He explained how Allah(SWT) regards this night to be better than a thousand months where every dua and worship is immensely rewarded.

He encouraged our students and staff members to prepare and plan this ashara (10 days) to gather the most out of it, In sha Allah.
