Dr. Muhammad Zulqarnain is a distinguished academic and researcher with expertise in Islamic Studies, Philosophy, Holistic Personality Development and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Currently, he is serving as Head of Department / Assistant Professor in the Department of Islamic Studies at Al-Qadir University.
He holds a PhD in Islamic Studies (Aqeedah & Philosophy) and brings over 15 years extensive experience in teaching, research, curriculum development, and academic leadership. He is also a Hafiz-e-Qur’an, which complements his scholarly expertise and commitment to Qur’anic knowledge. He is fluent in Arabic, English, Urdu, Punjabi and a fair command of Persian.
At Al-Qadir University, Dr. Zulqarnain serves in multiple key roles, including Acting Dean, Head of Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC), Head of the Centre for Education & Tarbiyah (CETAQ), Head of E-Learning, and convener of Grievance and Conflict Resolution Committee (GCRC). In these capacities, he has led initiatives in academic planning, faculty development, curriculum enhancement, and institutional quality assurance, ensuring high standards in higher education.
He has authored 32 publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals and presented at 35 conferences across Pakistan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Turkey. His research spans Islamic thought, philosophy, education, psychology, and the integration of Artificial Intelligence in research. Dr. Zulqarnain has conducted numerous faculty training session, leadership workshops, and seminars focusing on holistic development, AI integration, and academic excellence. His contributions have been recognized with several honors, including a Gold Medal in MS, Best Presenter Awards at international conferences, and multiple certificates of appreciation.
