The Center of Education’s first program was a Program on Teaching Excellence for University of Central Punjab. Our four-day, rigorous program which was conducted for senior administrators (including the Provost and Rector) and faculty members (including Deans and HoDs) to initiate the process for changing the teaching pedagogy at UCP towards ‘Participant-Centered Learning’. Participant-Centered Learning encourages a shift from rote learning to developing critical thinking and life-long learning skills. Participant-Centered Learning also ensures that the student is more engaged, motivated and takes ownership of the learning process.
